Gallery Persepolis highly values your privacy. When you visit us, request an appraisal, or contact us, you sometimes share personal information with us. What data we collect

We only collect what's necessary to provide you with excellent service:

• Contact details you provide yourself via the contact form, by email, or by phone: your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message.
• Information about a rug or project you discuss with us, such as requirements for purchase, appraisal, cleaning, or restoration.
• Technical data automatically generated when you visit our website, such as your IP address and browser type (see our cookie policy).

We only ask for what's necessary, and we never sell your data to third parties.

What we use your data for

• To respond to your message or request and to prepare an appointment or appraisal — legal basis: your consent and/or the performance of our agreement.
• For practical and administrative follow-up, such as appointments and invoicing — legal basis: performance of the contract and legal obligations.
• To operate, secure, and improve our website — legal basis: our legitimate interest.

How Long We Retain Your Data

We do not retain your data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Messages without follow-up are generally deleted within twelve months. Data related to a purchase, assignment, or invoicing is retained for as long as legally required — typically seven years for accounting purposes in the Netherlands.

Who We Share Data With

We do not share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. However, we do engage carefully selected service providers who process data on our behalf, strictly according to our instructions. For example, our website is hosted by Webflow, Inc., which also provides the contact form. Furthermore, we only disclose data when legally obliged to do so.

Transfer Outside the EU

Our hosting partner Webflow is located in the United States. When data is processed outside the European Economic Area, it is done with appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access.

Your Rights
